Editorial Process

The Medical and Ecological Problems operates a double blind peer-review system, where the reviewers' names are not included on the peer review reports for authors. Submitted manuscripts are reviewed by two or more experts who evaluate whether the manuscript is scientifically sound and coherent, whether it duplicates already published work, and whether or not the manuscript is sufficiently clear for publication.

The members of the Editorial Board will reach a decision based on the reviewers’ reports and, where necessary, they will consult with members of the Advisory Board. The manuscript with reviews is sent back to authors, and after relevant corrections, if any, it is delivered to editorial office for final acceptance.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo screening for plagiarism on a compulsory basis.

Upon publication of the paper, authors transfer the copyright to the Editorial office of the journal. The Editorial office reserves the right to alter and correct the manuscript considered for publication in the way that will not change its overall content and value.
